OTNV Academy uses cookies and browser storage to maintain account sessions and remember interface and workflow preferences.
Essential Session Cookie
The ingeeky_session cookie is used for authentication, two-factor verification state, and account session preferences. It is set as an HTTP-only cookie and sent over secure connections in production.
Session Duration
Without Remember me, the cookie is a browser-session cookie and its authentication token expires after seven days. With Remember me enabled, the cookie and token expire after 30 days. Signing out clears the session cookie.
Browser Storage
Some features use local storage for interface preferences and course-builder drafts. This storage is separate from cookies and remains in your browser until the feature or your browser clears it.
Embedded Content
Lessons may include content from external providers such as Vimeo. Those providers may use their own cookies or storage when their embedded content loads. Their privacy and cookie policies govern that processing.
How to Manage Cookies
You can control or clear cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie prevents sign-in from working. Clearing site storage may also remove locally saved preferences and unsaved drafts.
